Careers at Webigence
Webigence strive to deliver only the highest quality products, platforms, systems, and applications. We love the challenge of taking something complex and crafting it into something which is easy to use, and this passion for quality has led us to become one of the leading ASP.NET development companies in London.
We look for the same passion and forward-thinking qualities in our employees and we are fortunate to have brought together a highly talented team through many years of searching and through high retention rates. We combine a good work ethic, relaxed and friendly atmosphere, flexible working and generally understanding both personal and work related issues that inevitably occur from time to time.
Simon (MD) used to be a programmer (no time for that now!), which helps with understanding the developmental pressures, timeframes, and generally having good insight into best practice and project management strategies that work and don't work. For instance we've never considered introducing SCRUM methodologies as we know it simply wouldn't work in our agency setup, and many of the policies encumbant within SCRUM simply don't fit with the way we work or our understanding and effective use of an Agile approach.
We realise that we are only as good as the people who work for us, so we try to make sure we look after all our employees, for instance we offer:
- Flexible working
- Up to 25 days’ holiday
- Private healthcare
- Latest tech provided
We're currently looking for a mid to senior level developer, more details below:
About the role
We are looking for a skilled and experienced senior developer who will focus for the first 6 months on our healthcare client’s projects, to continue ongoing work with the rest of our team on adding further new functionality to their client-facing and internal admin applications, as well as on integrations with third party systems (e.g. HubSpot, Ethereum).
We work collaboratively and value input from all of our team, particularly with us all being experienced and having valuable perspectives. We are also mindful of working efficiently and not needlessly distracting each other.
You will be working on products that are leading the way in their fields, and making a big difference to staff at many companies throughout the UK and beyond, as well as helping individuals improve their digital privacy and security using our email privacy app.
Technical requirements (as many of the below as possible)
- 4+ years dedicated .NET C# development experience
- 4+ years working with relational and/or NoSQL databases
- Comfortable working with a variety of common design patterns
- Understanding of, and experience using, dependency injection
- APIs and integrating with third party libraries and APIs
- Microsoft or other certifications (e.g. MCSA/MCSD)
We are also always on the lookout for exceptional talent and for those who can make a useful contribution to the company – so whether you are a technical whizz, passionate about supporting and helping clients, marketing and social media savvy or some other skill set that you think would fit with (or add to) what we’re doing, then we’d love to hear from you.
