We have designed and developed many databases, mostly from scratch applying our preferred design schemas, but sometimes we have taken on databases designed by other individuals or companies and we are mostly disappointed by the level of thought and planning that has gone into these databases.
We apply very logical database design structures, we consider the optimal levels of design normalization, and we plan ahead to ensure our database design will cater for everything that might be required in the future. Obviously we can't cater for every eventuality, but we can apply a logical structure that should cater for 95% (or more) of any future unknown as yet requirements to be bolted on.
We are also experts in creating efficient (T-Sql) stored procedures, which are the means of doing complex (and simple) database look ups and analysis. We have produced stored procedures thousands of lines long that run in fractions of a second.
